I understand that deception was his plan, but there are no strong motives for him to wish death upon others besides him being "evil". KR's change of character gives off the feeling that he was bent under the writer's feather to be something evil that he simply wasn't in the start.

he's introducted to us as a friendly, open mentor that loves his field of study, yet somehow he's some evil mastermind that was just fooling everybody all along? with how little we learned about KR throughout the story it just seemed like a cheap out instead of formulating a meaningful enemy I personally cared a lot more about Max than most of the other characters that were present in the end why is it not revealed how Max survived their fall? Max's character was actually interesting and there was good development, yet this is something that doesn't get cleared up in the end.it felt like someone wrote a fanfic and for some reason that became part of the ending. there is just not enough character building around these two to warrant a proposal. sure they were a little flirty along the way, but that's it. carlos proposing to sasaya felt extremely uncalled for.

at least give a little cinematic high five or something, it would've made this feel so much better We have just won the final battle and stand victorious, the climax of the game is reached.

Here are some of the issues we felt with the arbury part of the story: I have just played through the story with a friend, after we had started playing on EA release, and the ending with it's final scenes felt like a huge letdown.
